I’ve walked this path…

After multiple traumas throughout my life, I felt abandoned, had panic attacks, and was diagnosed with ADHD and PTSD. I struggled with my mother's death by suicide, foster care, and ultimately feeling alone in this world. I struggled to find help and people with whom I connected. It took time, but I left an idea of who I was behind and made substantial progress in learning about my mental health, self-compassion, and whole-person health.  

I took time to attend to my ADHD and PTSD and found methods and treatments that helped me live a fulfilling and meaningful life. My passion for mental health and recovery grew, and I decided to go to grad school. However, after graduating with my mental health counseling degree, I was left thinking,” Is that all?” I always valued whole health: the mind, the body, and the spirit. My mental health therapy led me to honor my body, and I found somatic treatment, Yoga, nutrition, and exercises to balance my health. Around this time, I started challenging myself and decided to reach out to my biological family and explore my roots. I created a community and found people I could trust and accept love from. I have self-empowerment and physical health through CrossFit and Fitness. I learned the benefits of nutrition and slept to improve my health. The community I crafted of experts, coaches, medical professionals, friends, and family was all part of my journey. 

I fully recovered from being a victim of my life & continued my journey forward in balancing each day to make a great life. I feel empowered to create a meaningful life and be of service to others' healing and health. I need accountability for my health and wellness. I always had the ability; I just needed help getting here. I know you hold the tools to create a life you love, and with some help, you can feel happy and whole with your life. 

Working with medical professionals, health and wellness professionals, and experts in various fields, we can find he can help us find happiness in our lives. I hope to be part of your journey toward embarking on and amplifying our health and wellness. 

Training  

I am trained in cognitive processing therapy (CPT), Eye movement and desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), emotional freedom techniques (EFT), Dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), mindfulness-based stress reduction, Acudetox, and solution-focused coaching. 

I am a level 2 CrossFit Coach (CF-L2), 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, USAW coach, and Precision nutrition level 1 trained.
